Default Incoterm is CIF Ontario. We own the freight, the insurance, and the customs clearance until the material crosses your dock. You can also pick up direct from the warehouse.
Global Gate isn't a new idea. It's a name and a trade Sam has run before, under the same name, in Dubai, more than twenty years ago. The Canada chapter is the chapter we get to build properly.
Sam first ran a company called Global Gate in Dubai (2002–2005), and spent close to twenty years in the natural-rubber trade including a Kuala Lumpur venture with family. He's the supply side of the business. The relationship with our Malaysian source goes back twenty years.
